Saw you guys at WellsFargo in Moline many times. Still think you you made great music together. Your version of McAurther's Park is awesome. You should try to get the rain medley posted.|1343331851|KHester@juno.com| Bettendorf, Iowa|Thanks, Kevin! Actually, Pat and I got together and listened to some old Aureus cassettes recently. It was on my list as a "summer project" to put some of those on the site - including the Rain Medley. Keep an eye out for it!- Connie wink

Reminiscing on the 38th anniversary of our 1st date, thinking fondly of our memories of Aureus at Pheasant Run and Patrick's Pub. And Steve has fond memories of working with Mike at IBC, doing the Theater in the Round shows with Jack Barnhart. We had so much fun whenever we went to see Aureus. This has been great seeing the pictures and listening to the songs again. So glad we found you here. You brought a lot of joy into our lives. God bless you. Steve and Mar

I vividly remember seeing this band @ Bogey's Barn in Cutler Ridge in 1981 when I was stationed @ Homestead AFB. What a great break from the usual disco junk, C&W twanging, or ear busting rock n' roll. Real musicians playing real music. I bought their debut album @ Q records the very next day-I still have it and listen to it this day. I remember their version of Chicago's Ballet for a Girl in Buchanon. I spoke briefly w/ some of the members but they were very busy and the place was PACKED. I always hoped the group would achieve national stardom or at least release another album but.it never came. a couple of years ago I found another copy of the album at a yard sale and bought it too-the seller also remembered the band and how great it was. It would great to hear them live again but unfortunately that has come to an end. Anyway thanks for some fabulous nights and some great tunes that I will always treasure and pass on to my children! I have even started playing my horn again after a 9 year hiatus.
